I’ve worked with some of the Log-C footage from the Alexa in Apple Color – it looks great when graded and offers a lot of control over the image. Props to Arri for bringing simplicity to the post workflow.
Well, when you make a fifty thousand dollar camera, I imagine it needs to be designed for renters.

I think your forgetting that the Sony Betacam D600 cost around 60k and thousand of folks bought that camera.
I laughed out loud at the SLR bit. And looks like there’s a little subtle joke in the white balance presets as well. Very, very well done!
