Panasonic brought one of the most surprising preview announcements to NAB 2010 with the AG-AF100 camcorder, a the micro 4/3 which melds the sensor and interchangeable lens sensibility of a video DSLR with the features users require in a camcorder body. Jan Crittenden Livingston gave us the low down on this new offering, and also talked at length about their new 3D camcorder line. Finally, we wrapped up by discussing the latest update to the popular HPX-300, this year’s HPX-370 model. Watch below.

    Hi,

Im Mark form Bangalore India. Love your website and your coverage of NAB last year. Was gearing up to tune in this year and Im disappointed that I cannot get your videos cached so I can watch them. We don’t have good bandwidth like you guys in the US. Please host a low bandwidth version.

Kendal and Matt, Please host these videos on youtube or vimeo. I know you guys have moved to a VDN for good reason. But it just doesn’t work here in India.

    Cheers,
    mark

of course Panasonic sticks with 720p still… wonder if they’ll ever catch up to the rest of the entire market and go 1080p, or hell, step out on a limb and go 2k or 3k even. There is no reason why someone can’t make a camera (besides RED) that does that. I don’t know anyone who wants to shoot lowly 1080i anymore…
