Strawberry Swing - Stop Motion Like You’ve Never Seen Before
Published by Matthew Jeppsen March 5th, 2010 in 3D, Art, News, Off TopicColdplay’s video for the track “Strawberry Swing” is one of the most innovative uses of stop motion I’ve ever seen. They collaborated with the creative group Shynola to reinvent the genre, using perspective and live elements in new ways, and the results are simply stunning.

Hey Matt,
That was amazing. Loved it. Thanks for posting.
I was teaching Motion to a bunch of people at the Times yesterday and we watched it together. Incredibly well thought and and fun at the same time.
This is one of my all time favorite stop-motion animations…

Something you’ve probably seen, but I thought others might want to check it out.

That animation was insane, wow…cool concept. Thanks for the linky…

Not bad, but far from “insane” or “amazing”. Maybe I’ve seen more stuff than you guys, but this is no more impressive than the videos of Peter Gabriel from 20 years ago.
Links please! :-)

JayDee,
I think Matt and I have seen tons of stuff over the years but I for one can’t do what those guys can do and so it is still insane and amazing to me. So is this which you’ve probably seen…

Very different from the street art stop-motion stuff, but both are so well thought out that they both blow me away for different reasons.
