I’d really like to see some moving images made with a lensbaby in front of an lens adapter. I’d also like to know if there is a way to get rid of the sweet-spot for some of the shoots, as it could then be used as a “normal” Lens also.
Is there anything floating around here? Or is here someone who made some footage with it?
-George
Hey George, from what I understand there is no way to remove the soft focus effect. There are some video examples on the website, click on the film reel to view them.

They also will be providing FreshDV with a Nikon-mount Lensbaby 3G and I’ll post some footage in next week or so.
Thanks,

Cool, will wait for the Test from you. Please also take a look if you can get the Sweetspot as big and Framefilling as possible. I know there will be this soft focus, but maybe you can get a big portion of the Picture Softfocus-free. Just like a not so intense unsharpening vignette.
Thanks for your Quick answer also,
Geroge
Hi George,
All Lensbaby lenses have a curved field of focus, which is what create’s the round area of sharp in each image. You can control the size of the sharp area by stopping down the lens using Lensbaby’s disk apertures. At f/8 the sharp area is pretty big, and depending on your sensor size, you might be able to cover the entire image with sharp by stopping down even more. Lensbaby 3G and the Lensbaby 3G PL both come with aperture disks that go all the way to f/22.
Sincerely,
Sam Pardue
