Hey Carl,

I forwarded your question to IDX, and Sales/Marketing manager Vickii Chaffee had this to say:

<i>"In regards to the MIMO/OFDM structure, our system is not bi-directional for camera functions such as iris, paint, etc. We are taking either an HD-SDI or SD-SDI feed from the camera and inputting the signal into the TX. From there, it transmits MIMO to the RX. Within the antenna array, one of the antenna is working in a type of bi-directional manner with monitoring signal processing and internal signal housekeeping issues; however, this is limited to internal signal monitoring and not inclusive of camera functions."</i>

Hope that helps.

Does MIMO/OFDM imply bidirectional camera control support (i.e. paint, iris) or does this unit simply supply a wireless feed to your destination?
