What happened with the sound?
Yeah guys the sound is horrible (maybe 2 mics?)
Its been addressed…shouldn’t be an issue from this point forward.
This was a not so good report from NAB…definetly the weakest I’ve seen, the interviewer skills paled in comparison to kendall’s, sometimes the sound isn’t so good. But other than that, I’m loving your coverage
can’t even watch this … Letus should have paid someone to show the LU off rather than have a tech guy who can barely speak english … i was looking forward to this one too …
That “tech guy” was one of the creators of the Letus Ultimate. Who better to explain it than the one who created it? This adapter wasn’t even planned to be announced at NAB so everything was kind of rushed on the whole deal.
Aaron - relax homie. if he’s one of the creators, i think he’d be more excited about it, all i’m saying is that i wish this video was a little quicker.
Can’t hear anything. Seems to be a problem w/ sound
Brian, I think Aaron knows more about this subject then you might think….
No need to question that!
To bad the volumes of this movie kinda suck… but hey, loved watching and learning about this great product.
PS Aaron, when is my extreme shipping? hehehe ;)
The Letus units are great, but whether you have the Letus, Redrock, Cinevate or the Mini35 you need the best prime lenses - Nikon AI’s. You can see a selection of prime lenses just for Cinema Lens Adapters at our site Lenses35.com. Mike, Lenses35.com
Don’t forget the Canon L-series. World class.
I looked for Letus at NAB; I couldn’t find them. They’re here in the Portland area, so I’ll probably just drop by.
Wow. I honestly didn’t think the quality was that bad. The cut point was the most annoying thing. About Hein Li - I think this man is a genius, seriously. First off, how assured he looks when talking about his superior product. I don’t hesitate for a moment that this guy’s company is going to be huge one day. My concern is on the PR front. He has basically given away certian trade secrets about the design, price point and even they types of elements. He needs someone to do PR for him because I’m sure P&S already have seen this video multiple times.

Chris,
Why is it so bad to be open about your products? This opens up the market for great competition and lower prices! If P&S wants to compete against the ultimate they will need to lower the price of their mini35. Just tell me what is so bad about that?
I just think it’s great!
The segment has been re-edited, mainly for audio fixes. Should be a lot more consistent now.
Regarding the open vs. proprietary discussion, I think it’s great that the engineers behind the Letus Ultimate aren’t afraid to talk openly about their design. It shows maturity and confidence.

Hahaha, if this was an interview that, mmmm, let’s say, housewifes would be the target audience, they would’ve probably be very, very, thankfull for the info shared. However you gays dared, no I mean DAAREED!!!! to make a casual video for a whole bunch of professionally frustrated yappy snobs who take themselves too seriously! (DP’s? yeah, whatever), This is the same people that make those “great looking movies” every year that are so horrible to watch.
I can’t stand those people, criticizing each other, thinking everybody else is an idiot and they’re the only (undiscovered) genious in the entire universe.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for the update and don’t listen to the snobs, please keep up the interviews, thank you!
can anyone talk about the letus ultimate.”please.
thanks.
Victor, we anticipate an early review of the Letus Ultimate when it is finalized. Until then, we wait and hope the design and build goes well and according to timeline.
