Hey guys, just wanted to leave you a note about a music video I just finished. I shot it on an HVX with a Letus Extreme.
It’s called, “Girl If U Were Mine” and it’s by a 16 year old Houston rapper, Baby Jay who only raps about positive things.
I shot, edited and color corrected it. You can see it at: http://www.vimeo.com/gpcreative. Please feel free to tell me what you think!
    Thanks!

Looks good, Kenn! I thought the lighting was well-motivated and perfectly executed. Care to share some details about the finishing and color-timing process?

Thanks Matt! Basically, I edit in FCP and then export into AE using Automatic Duck. If AE, I do my primary color work using the colorista plugin. Works really well. I also use the color finesse plug in to select the sky or the green building so I can boost up the color or change it. I also use the new Magic Bullet Looks for it’s individual controls, not generally for the preformatted looks which I think look a little too cookie cutter. I don’t like when I watch a video and can tell what MB Look was used. If you go to: http://www.graphicplanet.com/bj
you can see the video without color correction. Check out the wide shot of the blue room.

Thanks Kenn. And that blue room wall replacement is cheating. :-) Nice work.
