I’m not so sure it is good news. All this data in fewer hands? Nah, the bigger boys are going to be over this like a rash exerting their influence and finding new ways to squeeze out competitors. Although the Internet may make many things possible, I’m afraid that old fashioned marketing muscle and handshaking is going to ensure the status quo remains… I’m not saying to indies to give up making films, I’m just say don’t build your business plans on downloading from AmazonWithoutUnboxed.
