I've been practising with it for a few days now its amazing and right now extremely cheap. will buy another if this documentary project goes well! Not that this consumer camera is on par with the HVX, God Forbid. :-) My personal opinion is that AVCHD is inferior to HDV in all the implementations I've seen to date, and not really an "editing codec" (just like HDV requires some hoop jumping for a good editing workflow).
