The Cinevate power pack looks really interesting. Wasn’t it just 7200 mAh though? Seems like I remember it being in that range.

I have the exact same views of the HV20. My friend wants to buy the Canon A1 and I keep telling him, you can get the HV20, 35mm adapter, lenses, rails, follow focus and an XLR balance box for the same price!!! the only down sides to the HV20 i've found is; crap in low-light - especially with a 35mm adapter - I have a new found love for 1/25 shutter speed :D you can't get a long life battery actors/coworkers look at it and assume it's JUST a consumer camera :D when are we going to see those latitude tests????
