How to Fix LCD Screen Burn-In and Stuck Pixels
Published by Matthew Jeppsen May 4th, 2007 in Hardware, News, TutorialsDo you have a new LCD display that exhibits a few stuck pixels? Seeing some screen burn in or image persistence on your plasma or LCD? It might be fixable. The JScreenFix applet is a web page that you simply load, display full screen, and then go to bed while it works out your LCD panel.
“The JScreenFix Java applet helps fix stuck pixels and image persistence on LCD screens and reduces burn-in on plasma screens. The applet runs safely inside a web browser, does not require installation and works with Windows, Linux and Mac computers.
JScreenFix repairs most stuck pixels in under 20 minutes, and mild screen burn-in within 12 hours.”
And UDPixel is a free Windows program that basically does the same thing as JScreenFix, but in a standalone program environment.
