I ordered this special on May 25th. I was charged immediately. I got an email on June 23rd saying it was shipped. It’s July 15th, and nothing to show for it.
Some “deal” this turned out to be. Looks like Footage Firm made a few thousand dollars for free.
This is the first complaint I’ve heard on this offer, so perhaps it was a simple oversight on their part. I would urge you to contact Footage Firm directly to have your concerns addressed. Try 866-777-9354 or e-mail joel [at] footagefirm.com. And please report back here when the issue is resolved.

I called and emailed several times. I contacted the online merchant account processing company and they sent an email. Joel replied about 2 days later via email saying he’d drop another copy in the mail. This was on July 17th. It is now July 27th and no DVD and no response to the email and phone calls I made two days ago checking in to let him know I had not yet received the DVD.
Situation NOT resolved.
Hmmm that doesn’t sound very professional or forthright. Please keep us updated on the situation.
I sent a request for a refund to 2CO, the online merchant Footage Firm uses to process orders. No reply/credit from Footage Firm yet. Stay away from this company. They’re unresponsive/unscrupulous at best. In my case, they’ve been fraudulent with charging my CC in May and not shipping the item, or having it in stock.
AVOID FOOTAGE FIRM AT ALL COSTS!
FYI, I have had e-mail conversations with the owner of Footage Firm in the past, he has always been responsive, courteous, and professional. While the burden of proof appears to be on FF’s shoulders in this particular situation, I would urge you not to trash a company’s name in a public forum over an item that cost $8.50 without first exploring all possible avenues of resolution.
Let me be clear, I have NO ties to the company. I just think it’s worth restating that you have already made contact with Joel and it is clear there was some sort of shipping or delivery debacle. Things happen. I have had orders and shipments lost with a number of companies.
You said yourself that he mentioned on the 17th that he would be shipping out a replacement. I’m having a hard time imagining that Footage Firm would be trying to rip you off intentionally for a measly $8.50! I remain hopeful that they are working to resolve the situation. Hang in there, continue to keep us posted.
