Intersting paper, especially from a guy who a few weeks ago explained why Panasonic DVCPRO HD intraframe compression was by far the best and will rule the world... and explains today :
&lt;EM&gt;Of XDCAM HD's three recording modes (18, 25 and 35Mbps), we favor the 35Mbps high quality MPEG-2 long GOP mode, which we estimate will approach if not match the CODEC quality of the established intra-frame formats of Sony's own HDCAM and Panasonic's DVCPRO-HD.&lt;/EM&gt;</description>
