OS X + Built-In Torrent Support x Sharing Credits = iTunes Movie Distribution Formula?
Published by admin May 2nd, 2006 in NewsKinda OT, but this sort of thing tickles my fancy. Indulge me please.

Wild speculation? Perhaps. But an interesting position, nonetheless. There is no doubt that bittorrent tech works, and BT use is exploding among users. This makes perfect sense to me. We’ll see…

Very interesting - I hope they do implement it. They seem to have thought through all the angles, and it seems like a win-win proposition for everyone.
I think if users feel like they have control over their bandwidth usage (such as restricting it to evenings, for example), coupled with credits, users would go for it.
It would bind Mac users in new and interesting ways, too…
