Canon SLR still camera used to capture “Corpse Bride”
Published by admin September 8th, 2005 in News HDForIndies and Cinematech have both mentioned Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride”, a new stop-motion film that exclusively utilized Canon SLR still cameras for image acquisition. Oh yeah, they edited on Final Cut Pro too.
The production used 24 Canon EOS 1D Mark II digital still cameras to capture each stop motion scene. Production took 52 weeks. A very interesting read.
EDIT: We previously mentioned a short film crafted using a Canon 20D in 5fps burst mode, and also a videographer that uses a PD-150 to create massive stills.
